Jenna Fischer has become best well-known as Pam Beesly, the character she played on The Office. For this part, Jenna was honored with two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy as well as an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress.
Anne, her mother, played in plays at church as a child that instilled a love of performance and theater in Jenna. Jenna spent her childhood watching her mother, Anne performing in church plays. It instilled in her an interest in theater.
She is a trained actress who was back in theater following The Office. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway show Reasons to be Happy. The play was followed by her participation at the premiere world-wide of Steve Martin's newest show Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking run at The Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer started with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, 2019. The show quickly gained popularity. Each week it ranked within the Top Ten in global downloads, with over 200 million downloads in its beginning two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Awards in January 2021.
She's also the co-author for Office BFF's Tales of The Office The Story of Two Best Friends There. This memoir is about their friendship and the work they did on The Office.
