Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. First gymnast in history to score a 10 for an Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi came across Comaneci at the age of six. Later, she would be Romania's gymnastics coach. The first time she competed at the national junior championships of 1969 placing 13th and she took the title in 1970. Three gold medals were awarded in her first competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972 that was held by the communist bloc nations. In 1973 and 1974 she won the junior champion in all-round competitions. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals in her first international competition for seniors that took place in 1975. This was the first time she had competed as an adult. She was the first female to ever successfully complete reverse double saltos when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager she was performing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater together with her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her entertainment career when she was in her teenage years. When she was a child, she began performing as the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. The shows were skaters who were accompanied by theatrical music.
