Her birth date is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico. Her birth title is Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican child of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson is born in Mexico. She is of Mexican-American heritage and is an American by nationality. Since the age of a child, she's always had a strong determination to be involved in athletics. Gerina began golfing when she was fifteen years old. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. In high school she was the winner of the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. In addition to the sport of volleyball, she played on a state-level. She attended in the University of Texas in 2003. Through the latter period of her career she had won every tournament where she played. In her undergraduate year, she received the Conference USA's player of the year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic Champion of the Year.
